ERO and slashwhy join VineForecast

Ero und slashwhy

Now on board with VineForecast: Germany's largest viticulture equipment manufacturer ERO and software developer slashwhy!

VineForecast in transformation - Success with partners

We want to promote efficient, transparent and sustainable work in the vineyard. With this goal in mind, our meteorologist Paul Petersik began developing a forecasting system for fungal diseases in the vineyard in 2019. Meanwhile, VineForecast's focus expands to all important processes in the vineyard.

This is how we are now approaching the transformation from a pure forecasting system to a fully comprehensive outdoor operations software. To ensure that this development is sustainable and designed for the long term, we decided in the summer of 2021 to bring experienced partners on board.

ERO and slashwhy - Concentrated viticulture and software expertise

With ERO GmbH as an established machine manufacturer from the wine-growing industry and slashwhy GmbH & Co. KG as a software developer for the agricultural industry, two strategic partners are now participating in VineForecast. Together, we want to take the path to sustainable digitalization of outdoor operations.

The course for the optimal further development of the software is thus set and customers of VineForecast can now benefit from the concentrated viticulture and software expertise: As Germany's largest manufacturer of viticulture machinery, ERO has more than 50 years of experience in the industry. In addition, the software developer slashwhy contributes extensive knowledge from the primary agricultural sector. For example, slashwhy counts companies such as Claas and 365FarmNet among its customers.

We are looking forward to a successful and long-term cooperation!
